I’m a mid-west girl who was born and raised in St. Louis. So who do we cheer for the most here in the city? Well, it depends on the season – its either the Cards or The Blues! Oh and MIZZOU is huge here as well.
Education and Training
I attended Deaconess College of Nursing, where I received a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. I spent over 10 years in the clinical hospital area where I had the privilege to work within Neuro-Medicine/Neuro-Surgery and also the Acute Cardiovascular Surgical areas.
Based on my own health experiences, I choose to attend the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City to obtain my certification as a Holistic Health Coach. I love being able to use this knowledge in order to help people affect the changes in their lives that they have been looking for. Health starts from the inside out.
For fun, I also have an Associates in Fine Arts in design. It’s so rewarding to be able to create what you love in your own living space.
During my nursing days, I was able to see first hand the amazing work that is done through Western medicine. But sadly, I saw how many patients were affected by degenerative disease, such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, and diabetes. All this disease resulted in so many acute medical procedures and interventions, but ALL of these diseases are preventable through changes in lifestyle and nutrition! Now I enjoy helping others get back to the health they deserve.
