Do you know that at one point I lost 57LBS? Yep! Crazy for those that haven’t known me long but its true. The past few years have been an incredible journey for me, I had what I thought was good health in my 20’s, then truly lost it after the birth of my first child. Reality check! What I was doing with my food choices only made that first year of being a mom that much harder. On top of being so sick and run down all the time, I started to gain a huge amount of weight. To make things worse, I could not figure out how to get rid of it! Have you been there or like me, wrote the extended edition of it?!? FRUSTRATING!!!!

I hit the proverbial wall at my daughter’s 1st year birthday party. Something had to be done. So I did it. The journey began. 57 pounds of weight loss.  It took close to 2 years to get there. But it was achieved! More importantly, it has been maintained now for over 5 years and even with my second sweet baby being born in that time.  I did it without the use of prescription medication, diet pills, fad diets, starving myself, deprivation, and crash cleanses. Seriously, do any of those sound like fun!?! They sure didn’t to me.

I learned to CREATE THE NEW ME!  I discovered the power of whole foods, how to control my crashes, find balance with cravings, nourish my body at the cellular level (PROPER Supplementation) , and most of all I discovered my Mental Mind Power and a fitness plan that worked for me.  This journey continues and is a constant revelation of the joy I have created.

AND the best part of what makes this journey so great is that it has become a total passion toward helping others CREATE what they have been searching for.

My specialty is helping busy moms and families (like my own) implement these changes in a way that is totally doable with small easy steps. As the weeks go by, you will come to know your own personal freedom.

You will learn about the concept of Bio-Individuality. It focuses on the fact that all of us are unique and have different nutritional needs. And truly what works for one person may not be the answer for you. This is where it becomes so important to recognize and listen to what your body is telling you and where individualized health coaching works to your advantage. I help you learn to recognize these messages and create strategies that work for YOUR life!

As part of what I do, I’ve choose to partner with Inspire Health Team. We are a group of super fun, dedicated and passionate ladies that love to spread the word on what true health is all about and show you how to love what real nutrition is all about.

I have SERIOUS and ECLECTIC love for many things. I think single channels are so monotonous!

FOODIE – Good food well crafted and delicious. The Barefoot Contessa: Ina Garten has been truly a culinary mentor in my life. I wish she knew how much she has helped me learn to cook.  The ability to create REAL amazing tasting food with the simple ingredients at hand.  As Ina says How easy is that? Its all about balance–80% great choices and 20% celebration foods.

Tea Time- If you saw my collection of teas and tea cups you would laugh and then sit down to enjoy a cup with me!

Books-If I walk into a bookstore I will buy something. I have to own it. Simply borrowing from the library does not cut it. There are always 4 books in process all over my house. On any subject possible

Gardening – One of my favorite places to be is with my hands in the dirt. My gardens are a constant work in progress as any gardener will tell you. There is always something to plant or reimagine.

ROCKING My Training Workouts – I hold 2 black belts, love weight training and cardio.  I can’t tell you how awesome it is to be a woman and able to know what my body is capable of doing against a threat to protect myself and my loved ones.

TRAVEL- seriously obsessed with travel. Any new cultural experience, historical site, music, food you name it I would love to experience it.

Being Outdoors in Nature –  hiking, exploring, etc… The world is an INCREDIBLE place. Go out and EXPERIENCE it!

Once you get to know me you find out what a super geek I am at times. While I don’t consider myself a complete fanatical Trekkie, I do know enough about Star Trek (all reincarnations) to be completely dangerous. And also super hero lore, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, etc.. as I said super geek.

Secret Love for my Martha Stewart magazines – Its a perfect Sunday morning to have a bit to look at the newest ideas and recipes with a cup of tea of course.

Which translates to my last of creating welcoming fun get-togethers –  Family and time with friends with beautiful easy settings and great food is a perfect event.
